GTM & Product GrowthSan Francisco
Aatif Junaid Mulla
I build GTM. Prove it. Scale it. Let me show you.
GTM and Product Growth
The proof in motion.
How I work:
Position
Find the pain. Name it in their language. Build the story that scales past me.
Demand
Target the accounts. Reach them with a system.
Activate
Instrument the funnel. See where they stall. Fix it.
Convert
Turn users into references. References into deals. Deals into a repeatable motion.
Go-to-market I built, and what it moved
-
A pre-seed AI startup building Aisepedia, a Product Marketing Environment connecting product, customer, competitor, and ICP data across research, decisions, and execution.
- Built the US enterprise GTM motion from zero: six-figure qualified pipeline across a three-figure account universe, and helped land the first signed enterprise deal with Splunk (Cisco) alongside the founder.
- Owned the PMM 2.0 launch event end to end, from venue and logistics to speakers and follow-up: 36 senior attendees, with panelists from Atlassian, Meta Reality Labs, and Google.
- Co-built a 13-member design partner program (8 at Director level or above across Atlassian, Splunk, and Taboola) through 32 discovery sessions, opening a direct channel between enterprise buyers, GTM, and product.
- Dozens of enterprise sales conversations supported with competitive battle cards and objection handling, helping the field differentiate the product and answer buyer resistance.
- Built an AI-assisted marketing operating system in n8n, HubSpot, and Calendly triggers for lead follow-up and lifecycle, with comprehensive acquisition and activation instrumentation.
- 1,000 targeted reach-outs ran through a six-week LinkedIn and outbound funnel, and instrumentation in Mixpanel and PostHog cut early abandonment 24%.

From the design partner program I ran“Aisepedia brings structure to that ambiguity in a way I’ve never seen before. It lets you get hyper-specific about your ICP and seamlessly thread that precision across every artifact you create.”
Rinita Datta Director of Product Marketing, Splunk (Cisco) “I have been working with them prior to launch and am super impressed by what they are building. Imagine inputting your features and messaging and generating key assets in a single click.”
Lara McCaskill Director of Product Marketing, Atlassian “Aisepedia has the potential to be the mecca of PMM AI tools for market research and developing differentiated messaging and positioning.”
Michele Nieberding Head of Product Marketing, Optiversal “I worked with the team on the ICP Comparison Guide. The depth was immediately obvious: need scoring, ICP fit, buyer dynamics, all in one place. I especially loved the insights about each audience.”

Intern to full timeJoined full time after an Intern - Pro Subscriptions and Product role in summer 2023, rotating across product, marketing, data, and competitive intelligence, including gamified content pilots that lifted repeat user sessions.
- Built and ran daily and monthly reporting on a nine-figure, multi-product subscription portfolio spanning thousands of accounts, used weekly by senior revenue leadership.
- Reported on strong flagship retention and renewal performance through the retention and upsell modeling I built.
- Surfaced seven-figure recovery opportunities and six-figure monthly expansion potential through renewal, upsell, and wallet-retention analysis.
- Migrated a broad account-executive team and tens of thousands of deal records to a new system with zero errors using automated validation rules.
- Turned retention and expansion analysis into revenue priorities for leadership and sales.
- 2 SOPs written for the internal generative AI task force, where I evaluated AI applications for newsroom and revenue workflows.

- DailyWallet Retention Report. The retention engine tracking renewal and net-retention economics across the full subscription book.
- WeeklyRenewal Report. Flagged every deal renewing flat or under 5% to the sales team and VP of Finance so at-risk renewals surfaced early.
- MonthlyMRR Deck. Refreshed the RevOps slides in the monthly recurring-revenue deck from live data pulls.
- MonthlyVertical Profitability Report. Tracked profitability across POLITICO's 17 policy verticals month over month, subscriptions against media, and flagged any vertical slipping from the prior month.
Also day to day: EU mirror-deal setup and account access, assigning every new account to the right AE by industry, RevOps Jira triage, and order verification three times a day.

Quantum Corporation (NASDAQ: QMCO) builds data storage and management technology. It acquired EnCloudEn in 2021 (announcement), and I moved across with the portfolio.
- Recovered six-figure YoY revenue by rebuilding Salesforce contract workflows and running renewal audits across 80+ enterprise accounts, closing booking discrepancies with validation logic and pipeline governance.
- Reached 105% of the Q1 2022 target and drove 18% growth in major prospects by partnering with sales leadership on territory design, quota capacity, and performance tracking.
- Ran competitive and market analysis on the data-center virtualization portfolio and fed it into enablement, sharpening how the field positioned against established hypervisor and storage vendors.

EnCloudEn · BengaluruEnCloudEn built hyperconverged infrastructure software for enterprise data centers. Quantum Corporation acquired the company in 2021.
- Sold infrastructure to enterprise IT buyers who evaluated on architecture rather than pitch, building the solution demos, technical documentation, and sales training that made the product explainable without an engineer in the room.
- Influenced the product roadmap by translating enterprise requirements into technical specifications and structuring proposals around them, feeding customer signal back to engineering through to the Quantum acquisition.
- Ran competitive and market analysis that shaped positioning and differentiation against established virtualization vendors.

What I own across go-to-market
GTM from Zero
I build the whole motion where there is no playbook: who the buyer is, why they should care, and how the first deals close.
Pipeline and Revenue Attribution
I tie every program back to pipeline and revenue, so go-to-market is judged on what it moved, not on how busy it looked.
Enterprise Adoption
I move accounts from first conversation to signed enterprise deal, and build the proof that gets a skeptical buyer there.
GTM Systems
I build the instrumentation and automation underneath, so the motion runs on systems rather than headcount.
How I think about the work
First principles, then 5 Whys
I dig to the root of a problem before building, so the work solves the real need, not the surface symptom.
Design thinking
I work backward from how buyers actually decide and behave. That keeps go-to-market honest and the message landing.
Reading the market honestly
Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, and Blue Ocean help me see the landscape clearly, then choose where to compete and where to create new space.
Outcomes over activity
OKRs and a balanced scorecard tie the motion to financial, customer, and product results, never vanity metrics.
Positioning, pipeline, and revenue are one system.
